Smart E-waste Disposal

Santa may have filled your stockings with shiny new gadgets, but what about the old ones collecting dust?

Remember, tossing e-waste in the bin isn't just bad for the environment, it's potentially hazardous. So instead of binning, choose the greener options!

If your old gadgets are still kicking, consider selling or donating them for a second life. But if they're truly toast, find your nearest Recycling and Waste Centre for proper disposal.

What’s happening in the Redlands

More Showers on the Horizon, Folks

The past few days have been a bit soggy with heavy rainfall and thunderstorms that have caused some flooding and power outages in certain areas.

While the skies may not be clearing just yet, the forecast for the next 48 hours suggests the worst might be behind us. Expect more showers and overcast skies, with temperatures dipping as low as 18°C in the morning and climbing to around 29°C in the afternoon.

So stay safe, stay informed, and maybe consider building a paper boat fleet to navigate the streets :)

Magic is brewing at the Cleveland Library this January!

Get ready to be wowed, puzzled, and tickled pink by the one and only Magic Glen at Cleveland Library next Tuesday (2pm, Jan 9). His interactive magic show is a whirlwind of disappearing scarves, levitating cookies, and enough mind-bending tricks to leave your little rascals squealing with glee.

Book your seat here before they vanish and don't be a late-arriving rabbit.

Secret Life of Farm Animals?

Capalaba Produce is whipping up a wild adventure at 10am and 2pm next Wednesday and Thursday. They're hosting the Teds Corner Experience, where you can get up close and personal with the coolest farmyard friends in town.

And the best part? entry requires only a gold coin donation, which goes straight to our furry friends at Pets In The Park.

So grab your little animal whisperers, pack your snuggle-bug vibes, and head down to Capalaba Produce for a wild day of bleats, baas, and endless giggles.

Air Guitar Alert!

DAMAGE INC, Australia's mightiest Metallica tribute, is about to unleash their thunderous show at Cleveland Sands Hotel this Friday, and you don't want to miss it.

Think face-melting guitar solos, thunderous drums that'll rattle your fillings, and enough energy to power a small island. These guys don't just play Metallica, they channel the very spirit of thrash metal itself!

So dig out your black t-shirt, break out your air guitar moves, and grab your tickets before they disappear.

It's gonna be one epic night of metal mayhem, Cleveland!
