Help Design New Skate + BMX Parks Local skaters and BMX riders get the chance to help design new parks at Cascades Park and William Taylor Sports Field. There are workshops on 5 and 6 November where they can throw in ideas, look at design options, and shape spaces they’ll actually want to ride for years.

New ICU, New Hope for Redlands Redland Hospital just opened its brand-new ICU, and it’s a huge win for the community. With Dr Isuru “Izzy” Seneviratne and Nurse Unit Manager Nicola Rugg leading the way, families now have access to life-saving care close to home. It’s a proud step forward for local healthcare.

Cute Koala Sighting Near Ormiston College Locals spotted a koala and her joey hanging out around Dundas St W near Ormiston College, and honestly, it doesn’t get more wholesome than that. It's such a cute reminder of how lucky the community is to share space with wildlife. Keep an eye out and drive gently through the area.

Big Win for Redland SES Redland SES just secured second place at the State Disaster Rescue Challenge, going up against the top teams in Queensland. Their hard work, teamwork and skill really showed. It’s a huge win for the community, and a well-earned moment to celebrate how dedicated they are to keeping everyone safe.
