Redlands Medicare Mental Health Centre Marks One Year The Redlands Medicare Mental Health Centre is celebrating 12 months of service. Since opening, it’s helped thousands locally with free, walk-in mental health support—no Medicare card or GP referral needed—while easing pressure on hospitals and emergency services.
Funding Now Available for Youth Events in Redlands Redlands Coast Council is offering up to $5,000 to help run free or low-cost events for young people during Youth Week (11–19 April). So if you've got an event idea (sports, arts, or just fun activities) that brings the community together—apply by Feb 15! More info here.

Mobile Library Gets a New Thursday Schedule Starting February, the Redlands Mobile Library will run a new Thursday timetable. Catch it at Village Green, Wellington Point from 11 am–1 pm, then Beth Boyd Park, Thorneside from 2–4:30 pm. Perfect chance to grab books, browse new titles, or just enjoy a local library stop.
Cycling Without Age Coming to Redlands Coast A new volunteer-led project is bringing free trishaw rides to older residents and people with disability along the Redlands foreshores. Local resident Steve Bayliss says community support has been amazing, and rides could start within a month. Volunteers and locals can join in or follow updates on Facebook.

Business Updates
Cedar & Stone Closed for Now
Cedar and Stone Wood Fired Pizza Bar is staying closed a bit longer while they sort out issues with their wood oven. They’ll share updates as soon as they can. Fingers crossed it’s fixed soon and Redlands gets its pizza nights back.

Fresh Seafood Alert in Thornlands
A local seafood fan recently discovered a new spot in Thornlands, selling seafood straight off the trawler. They said the seafood was incredibly fresh, perfect for anyone looking for top-quality local catches without leaving the Redlands Coast. It's a tasty find for everyone to check out! More info.

Need your car cleaned? Swing by Birkdale and support our Under 15 boys heading to New Zealand. They’ll be washing cars to raise tour funds. You get a shiny car, they get closer to a big overseas experience. It's a win-win for everyone.
