RAAF's 10-Year Freedom Anniversary Parade

Cleveland is set to host a special ceremonial military parade on Saturday, (April 13) to mark the 10th anniversary of the Royal Australian Air Force's Freedom of Entry to Redland City.

Military members in ceremonial attire, adorned with operational medals and carrying ceremonial swords and rifles, will march from Raby Bay Harbour Park to ANZAC Centenary Park along Shore Street West. Join this historic event and enjoy the special occasion honoring the connection between the RAAF and Redland City.

Race for Redland City

Election is in 3 days and the 3 mayoral candidates are Jos Mitchell, Cindy Corrie, and Andrew Laming. Voting will be on at your local school/community centres this Saturday.

Here are the Redlands Pre-poll center where you can vote early:

  • Cleveland – Baptist Church, cnr Long and Bloomfield St

  • Capalaba – Place Hall (Library) , 14 Noeleen Street

  • Victoria Point – Community Hall, Link Road
