If you've noticed an "Emergency Management Levy" on your Redland City rates notice, it's levy to help fund fire and emergency services, so they're prepared for anything - floods, cyclones, storms, fires, and even accidents.

The council is collecting it on behalf of the Queensland Government to ensure there's a strong safety net for everyone in the state.

Help Identify Vandals Who Targeted Redland Rugby Club

Redlands Rugby Union Club Official and Barrett Group Services has been help Muddies Cricket Club in identifying the vandals responsible for the damage at the Redland Rugby Club. They've been pouring over security footage, and here's what they found:

A group of 4x4s entered the club around 8:05 pm on Saturday, June 8, and left around 8:16 pm. There were 7 vehicles in total.

Day Camp

This June-July holidays, let your kids experience Day Camp - a 5-day program for grades 1-6, packed with adventure, learning, and making new friends (all while sleeping in their own comfy bed at night!). They'll learn about God's love, build friendships, and appreciate the beauty of creation - all in a safe and supportive environment.

Today (June 26), Redland Museum's "Rainforest Find & Seek" will challenge kids to discover hidden animals, reptiles, and plants in their amazing textile rainforest display. It's like a real-life Where's Wally, but with a tropical twist and there's even a fun activity booklet to help you track your finds. It's a great way for kids to learn about the rainforest and unleash their inner explorer.

Free for children, $6 for concession, and $10 for adults.

Flipside Circus Drop-In Sessions

If your kid(s) is interested in learning some cool circus skills, head to the Redland Performing Arts Centre today or tomorrow (anytime between 1-5 pm for FREE drop-in sessions with Flipside Circus!

Kid(s) will get to try out all sorts of cool circus skills, like hula hooping, juggling, poi spinning and learn some impressive skills. No experience needed.

Proudfoot & Friends Set Sail at RPAC!

School holidays got you stumped? Head to RPAC for Proudfoot & Friends - a fun-filled show featuring award-winning Lucas Proudfoot leading an interactive sing-along adventure for kids of all ages.

There'll also be cool animations and catchy tunes to keep kids (and grown-ups!) entertained. It's a perfect show for little ones (and big ones who are young at heart!).
