No-Appointment Medicare Clinics Set to Open Soon New Medicare Urgent Care Clinics are coming to Carindale and Capalaba, with another in Greenslopes. This clinics will ease pressure on hospitals by offering bulk-billed care, seven days a week, with no appointment needed. It's a good one!
Redlandsâ New Mothership Takes on Mozzies Redland City Council has launched a new purpose-built vessel to tackle mozzie breeding hotspots across the coast. The boat allows faster, targeted treatments to protect public health. Kudos to the Council!
Redland SES Volunteers Honoured at State Awards Redland City SES volunteers were recognised at the Queensland SES Awards, with Steven Hayes named Member of the Year. The Unit also celebrated finalists Malakai Keen, Justin Kirkby, and the Redland City SES team, while Tony Daniel was honoured for 50 years of service. This awards showed their dedication.

Finucane Road Speed Limits Dropping Soon
The speed limits on parts of Finucane Road is set to be reduced from early September. Night works will run 7pmâ5am, Monday to Thursday, with new signs installed. The changes aim to cut crashes and improve safety, and should wrap up by early October.
