New Trial Protects Cleveland’s Foreshore Oyster Point Park is getting a boost with Redland City Council’s second living shoreline trial. The project includes a mix natural vegetation with engineered structures to fight erosion and protect habitats. Crews are set to begin work this month and are expected to wrap up by late August.

Cement Doesn’t Belong in Green Bins Someone dropped cement into their green waste bin, and it’s a solid mistake. Heavy materials like that damage trucks, break bins, and contaminate green waste. This is a reminder that green-lid bins are only for garden organics like clippings, branches, weeds, and leaves.
