The Australian Government has announced $35.5 million in funding for the Kinross Road Estate project which will involve improving road access, building footpaths, and upgrading stormwater drainage. This is a major win for the city and will greatly benefit the community. Cheers!

Stonefish Spotted in Raby Bay

A stonefish has recently been sighted in Raby Bay. Stonefish can be difficult to spot and their sting is extremely painful, so be cautious when wading in the water and estuaries. To protect yourself, wear thick-soled shoes when wading and keep a close eye on your children.

Remember, stonefish are present year-round in Redlands Coast waters, so always be vigilant. Report any stonefish sightings to Council at 3829 8999.

Want to give back to the community? The Redland Community Centre is collecting essential school supplies to help local kids get ready for the new school year. Feel free to drop off new or gently used books, pencils, pens, highlighters, calculators, USB drives, lunchboxes, drink bottles, backpacks, and display folders from 9am on Mondays and Wednesdays.
