Best Greek in the Redlands

Wellington Point's best kept secret? Not anymore.

Hellenic Street Food is serving up authentic Greek cuisine cooked over charcoal β€” think juicy Yiros, fresh dips, and pita bread done properly. Chicken, pork, lamb or halloumi, there's something for everyone. Whether it's a quick lunch or a family dinner, it's the kind of food that hits the spot every time.

Feeling the Greek vibes? There's also a Greek Festival on at Mt Gravatt Showgrounds this Saturday β€” see Events below for details. Hellenic Street Food is the perfect warm-up. πŸ‡¬πŸ‡·

Quick News

πŸ›΄ Queensland cracks down on e-scooters and e-bikes β€” what you need to know
A new Queensland Parliamentary report has recommended sweeping changes to e-mobility laws that could affect every rider on the Coast. Key proposals include raising the minimum riding age to 16, requiring riders to hold at least a learner's licence, capping footpath speeds at 10km/h, and giving police powers to seize illegal devices on the spot. Devices capable of exceeding 25km/h may be reclassified as motorcycles β€” requiring registration, insurance, and a motorbike licence. With 12 deaths and 6,300 emergency presentations in Queensland last year alone, reform is clearly overdue. Read the full report β†’
