Water main break on Redland Bay Rd fixed
There was a water outage that lasted a few hours on Monday and it affected about 80 homes in Capalaba around Redland Bay Rd between Smith St, Ney Rd and Merritt St.
But it was all fixed up by 6pm, same day (Monday) with no damage reported. Big thanks to the Council crews getting things back on track ASAP.
Going green on the Redlands Coast
Redlands Coast has hit a milestone with over 25,000 green waste bins now in use. This means less garden waste going to landfill and more homes with convenient composting options. Mayor Jos Mitchell is thrilled with the eco-friendly trend, and even residents are find it a "cheap and easy" way to manage yard waste and avoid trips to the recycling center.
