Spare a thought for our Northside step-cousins, huge rain and flooding issues yesterday has left them in recovery mode.

Local sporting teams in the Redlands have been struggling to open due to waterlogged pitches the last 3 weeks as well. Definitely a wet summer this year.

Race for Redland City

Exciting times ahead in Redland City as election nominations open next week for a new mayor and 10 councilors!

Jos Mitchell's been campaigning hard for a year, shaking hands, and promising a new era of transparency, ethics, and respect for public opinion. Her "Leading Change" team, including charismatic Wendy Boglary, promises a fresh perspective.

A Moment for Matt, Kate, and Miles Field

"Today is about relaxing with family and friends, and being grateful we are able to live in a blessed and peaceful country like Australia.

But today if you can take a small moment and keep Matt Field, Kate Leadbetter and their unborn son Miles in your thoughts. It was on Australia Day in 2021 when this beautiful young family was senselessly and tragically killed while on an afternoon walk with their dogs in Alexandra Hills. A teenage car thief, under the influence of alcohol and drugs, hit and instantly killed Matt, Kate and Miles after rolling his stolen vehicle while speeding through a red light.
