Big news for the Cleveland Aquatic Centre! 🏊‍♀️💦

The Redland City Council is investing $416,000 for renovations this year based on a recent checkup. They'll spruce up the toilets, showers, and entrance right after the September school holidays to minimize disruptions.

The project is a joint effort with the center operator contributing $55,000 annually. They've been maintaining the facility since 2020, and even gave it a major facelift back then. Rest assured, they're committed to making sure your Aquatic Centre experience stays amazing!🤝🌟

Get ready to embark on an exciting mission to spot and record koalas on Redlands Coast as part of the South East Queensland Koala Count!

Happening from Sunday, September 30th to October 8th, this new initiative is your chance to be a koala detective and contribute to crucial research for koala conservation.

Just register with Redland Coast Koala Watch, and then hit your neighborhood in search of these furry friends. Your koala observations will be the secret ingredient in the recipe for koala conservation actions, reducing koala illnesses and injuries, and creating better koala maps for our community.
