Business Updates
Zarraffa's Drive Thru Coming Soon
Construction is underway at the bottom car park of Zarraffa's Coffee, with Brisbane Building Services on the job. It won't be long before everyone's zipping through for their favourite Zarraffa's coffee-without even getting out of the car.

Coffee with a Cop
Locals said Coffee with a Cop was the perfect way to start their morning-free coffee, friendly chats with local officers, and some solid safety advice thrown in. No speeches, just good vibes and real convos. They added it's a great way to connect and feel supported.

We asked AI to roast Redlands Suburbs, How’d it Do?
1. Cleveland
Oh, Cleveland, the self-proclaimed "heart" of Redlands Coast, but let’s be real—it’s more like the appendix: you’re not sure why it’s there, and it’s a bit past its prime. You’ve got that charming seaside vibe with pelicans skimming the bay, but your main streets look like they’re stuck in a 90s time warp, complete with poetry inscriptions nobody stops to read. And that median house price of a cool million? Mate, for that coin, I’d expect a private jetty and a personal barista, not just a view of Moreton Bay’s mudflats at low tide
2. Redland Bay
Redland Bay, you’re like that cousin who promises a big barbecue but serves up tinned snags. You boast about your "country feel" and foreshore trails, but let’s talk about those midges that swarm like they own the place—Council’s aerial spraying must be using sugar syrup! And the traffic? Trying to get to Victoria Point for a decent shop takes longer than a trip to the Gold Coast. Your new Red Edge shopping centre is cute, but 15 shops and a 7-Eleven don’t exactly scream "thriving metropolis."
3. Capalaba
Capalaba, you’re the suburban equivalent of a mullet: business up front with your shopping centres, and a whole lot of questionable bushland out back. You’ve got two massive malls, but somehow still manage to feel like a glorified truck stop on the way to Brisbane. That Regional Park with its flying fox is a hit with the kids, but let’s be honest, the real adventure is dodging the peak-hour traffic on Redland Bay Road.
Stay tuned for part two next week 😂
