Electrical work at Community Precinct June 10-21
Heads up - the Council wants to upgrade some systems to keep things safe and running smoothly, so there will be some electrical work happening at the Birkdale Community Precinct from June 10th to June 21st. The good news? They won't need to remove any trees.
Heads up, Alexandra Hills
There will be a planned burn happening at the Scribbly Gums Conservation Area on Tuesday, June 11th and possibly Wednesday, June 12th (weather permitting). This is to reduce fire risk and help native plants grow back stronger.
So be sure to drive with caution as traffic might be a little slow in the area. And if you have respiratory problems, keep your medications close by and consider closing windows and doors as You might see some smoke.
