The fire-damaged playground equipment at Thornlands Community Park will be closed throughout the Christmas school holidays due to fire damage sustained earlier this year. Repairs are estimated to be completed by the end of March 2024, though this depends on weather and delivery times for new equipment.

However, the rest of the park is open for kick-abouts, fitness fun, and BBQ feasts.
