The new Thornlands Community Park playground's equipment is in the house and is set to open by Easter. Construction starts March 4, wraps up by March 26 (weather permitting). So get ready to enjoy the new climbing gear, plastic slide, central basket, net bridge, rubber softballs, shade sail, and garden makeover.

"Thank you to the poster about the guy in the tent. Someone sent me a pm of his location, and I just drove out to speak with him, as my gut told me he would be harmless. Had him hop in the car as it was raining, and had a good chat with him.
His name is Gregory. 34 years old (looks a lot younger), and had a shoulder injury a year and a bit ago that meant he had to leave his job. He was meant to get a surgery, and because of his pets and money, he didn't. Had a bit of physio instead. He was evicted from his place after he lost his job, and because he has a rottie & another large dog (sounds like they need a bit of training), was told that if they 'failed' training, they would be put down.
