Council Pushes for Wastewater Reform Councillor Shane Rendalls has urged Redland City Council to pursue regulatory reform and innovative infrastructure solutions following a national wastewater summit. Big conversations happening for our region's future.

Clarity Sought on Capalaba Metro
Former State Member Don Brown has called on local LNP representatives to clarify what public transport infrastructure is actually planned for the area, amid growing interest in the proposed Redland Whitewater Centre. Two developments worth watching.

Councillors Reject Victoria Point Library Relocation
A proposal to move the Victoria Point Library to the roof of a shopping centre has been knocked back. Negotiations over the current lease continue.
SMBI Residents Want Marina Parking Fines Suspended
Southern Moreton Bay Islands residents have formally called on Council to temporarily suspend parking fines at Redland Bay Marina, arguing current enforcement is unfair to island commuters. A hot topic for our island community.
