New Capalaba Library Opens its Doors

Mayor Jos Mitchell recently visited the new temporary Capalaba Library and was impressed by the scale and design of the space. The library boasts of over 300 square meters of space for browsing, studying, and community activities. It also has meeting rooms, a soundproof pod, and dedicated sections for kids and young adults.

Kudos to the project team and library staff for their hard work. We encourage everyone to visit the new library and take advantage of its many amenities.

Power Surge at Council Building

The Cleveland Customer Service Centre was closed on yesterday, Nov. 12th, due to a damage to their main administration building caused by the recent storm.

The damage affected systems like building access and air conditioning, but the good news is: they've worked hard to fix the issues, and after successful overnight testing, the Cleveland Centre is now back open!

Due to a change in personal circumstances, the Australian Wildflour Pastry Co. will be closing its doors on November 24th.

Redland City Council is bringing back Festive Friday Flicks for four weeks of magical outdoor movies under the stars!
