We have so many Christmas events happening in the area, it’s going to be hard to manage to get to all of them. We’ve listed out a range that are happening this weekend, including ones at Sirromet, Capalaba Bulldogs and Wakerley. Take your pick and enjoy some festivities.

Summer Grass is Going Wild in Redlands This summer, Redlands lawns are growing faster than ever and Council crews are working hard to keep up. Expect more mowers, whipper snippers, and buzzing machinery around public spaces. Some work might happen in stages, so don’t worry if it takes a day or two to see results.

Bright Lights for Redlands Sports Four local sporting grounds are getting upgraded with new LED lights, including EGW Wood Sportsfield, Redlands Softball Park, Redlands Baseball Park, and John Fredericks Park. Players can now train safely at night, enjoy better visibility, and fans can cheer under modern, energy-efficient lighting by mid-2026.

The Pursuit of Hoppiness Opens in Raby Bay

The Pursuit of Hoppiness Food & Liquor is officially open right on Raby Bay Harbour! They have 16 rotating Aussie craft beers on tap, a stacked back bar, hip-hop-inspired murals, and games.
