Mad Hatters’ Crafty Tea Party
Scattered Arts is a collective of artisans who meet regularly to support each others’ creative interests. In May, Scattered Arts is holding its annual high tea and craft event. This year’s theme is Mad Hatter’s Tea Party.
A high tea will be served following a one-hour craft tuition session where participants will make something to take home. Participants can choose from eleven different craft projects. There will also be raffles, a pop-up shop and competition prizes.
The event at the Wynnum Manly Leagues Club starts at 11:15am and concludes around 2:00pm on Saturday 18 May. It is an ideal Mothers’ Day gift.
Tickets are $59 p.p. and can be purchased at https://www.trybooking.com/CQECD

Community Safety Warning ⚠️
This happened to me on Saturday, 06/04/24 at 7:05 pm in Ormiston.
I was going home from work and I came across this couple walking in the middle of the road. This incident happened at Freeth St West near the intersection of Delancey St. where there are a couple of retirement villages on each side of the road. As you can see clearly in the video, when I saw the couple I stopped, the girl yelled something to the guy and I was in the middle of probably what looked like an argument between the couple. He just turned around, jumped on the bonnet and punched the windscreen several times. The mainly concern here is that it could happen to anyone in the area.
If you know or see these people please contact Cleveland Police Station to report them. - Anonymous
